Details-
As an Information Systems Engineer you are part of a team that is responsible for design, analysis, evaluation, testing, debugging and implementation of applications programs in support of NetApps various functional areas. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand and address customer need and develop implementation plans.

Job Requirements-
Strong experience in working on Linux Administration.
• Experience in any of the scripting languages would be an advantage.
• Experience in working as a lead for a shift handling activities like Ticketing, Monitoring, Providing Project Updates, Staffing ( Shift Rooster, Addressing challenges in a shift, mentoring his reportees ), handling tickets.
• Ability to follow standard engineering principles and practices (ITIL).
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other Information Systems Engineering team members to support deadlines; ability to work independently as well.
• Account management and project management experience.
• NetApp hardware and software experience.
• Strong aptitude for learning new technologies and understanding how to utilize them in a customer-facing environment.
• Creative approach to problem solving.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently with competing deadlines.

Responsibility and Interaction:
Responsibility:
• The tasks this individual is responsible for are often non-routine and unstructured, requiring creative solutions.
• This individual will apply attained experiences and knowledge in solving routine to moderately complex problems.

Interaction:
• This individual must work effectively with Staff to Vice President level employees within the function, and the technical team on assigned projects. There may be communication with employees in other functions as required.
• Limited management direction is provided to employee on new projects or assignments as well as review of activities and priorities.
• The ideal candidate will be a proactive contributor and subject matter expert on team projects.
• To be successful, this individual must demonstrate favorable results through coaching and influencing others.
Education and Experience
- A minimum of 5 years of experience is required; 6 years of experience is preferred.
- A Bachelor of Sciences Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or other related field is required; or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated ability to have completed multiple, moderately complex technical tasks.
